  1. 3 Variables with p-value ≤0.20 from Table 1 were included in the bivariate analyses. 342 participants were included in the bivariate analysis with the exception of ABPI (n=341); PPI-VAS (n=327) Physical and Mental Component Scores (n=336); Pain descriptors (n=336). A manual backwards stepwise method was used for the multivariate analysis. Only variables with p<0.10 were included in the final model (n=336). Variables entered at Step 1 that were excluded from the final model were: ABPI, VAS score <= or >3, Prescribed Non-narcotics, Pain Descriptors Shooting, Stabbing, Sharp, Hot-Burning, Aching, Heavy, Splitting, Tiring-Exhausting, and Fearful.
